In FUNDACION FELIPE GONZALEZ, hereinafter FFG, as responsible for this website, we want to offer the greatest legal guarantees in relation to your privacy and explain as clearly and transparently as possible everything related to the processing of personal information within this website. This privacy policy was last updated on 07/01/2021 (FFG reserves the right to modify this policy to adapt it to new legislation or industry practices, informing you of the changes and their date).
This Privacy Policy is intended to be a second layer of information or additional to that requested by other means, being valid for personal data obtained on our website, not being applicable to that information collected by third parties on other websites, even if they are linked by the website.

What data do we process and how did we obtain it?
In general, the data processed comes from the management of our foundation through the historical archive of Felipe González and other contemporary personalities, as well as data provided by users, patrons, donors, suppliers, staff or others.
The data processed have been obtained by voluntary contributions from the interested parties themselves or from sources accessible to the public.
The type of data processed differs according to the processing activity:
Felipe Gonzalez Archive: images and identifying data, historical data, data revealing ideology.
WE section: images and identifying data of employers, employees and collaborators.
Contact form: Name, surname, e-mail and message content.
Subscription form: Name, surname, e-mail, company, location and language.
Events and activities: images and identification data.
For what purpose do we process your personal data?
At FFG we process personal information for the following purposes:
- Felipe González Archive: to manage and make available to the public the historical archive of Felipe González.
- ABOUT US section: to publicize the identity of the Foundation’s trustees, employees and collaborators.
- Contact form: to get in touch with you to respond to your message, query or request, using in all cases the email address to answer you.
- Subscription form: to include you in our database to keep you informed of our activities, initiatives and events.
- Events and activities: to publicize the activities and events of the Foundation.
There are other purposes for which we treat your personal data:
- To ensure compliance with the terms of use and applicable law. This may include the development of tools and algorithms that help this website ensure the confidentiality of the personal data it collects.

- Other non-identifying data are also collected that are obtained through some cookies that are downloaded to the user’s computer when browsing this website that we detail in the cookies policy.
- To manage social networks in which FFG has a presence. The processing of data carried out by people who become followers on social networks of the official pages of FFG, will be governed by this section. Acceptance and consent: The User, in the case of contact and subscription forms, declares to have been informed of the conditions on the protection of personal data, accepting and consenting to the processing of such data by FFG in the manner and for the purposes indicated in this privacy policy.
How long will we keep your data?
- Felipe González Archive: all data in the historical archive will be kept for an indefinite period of time to serve the Foundation’s own purposes and public interest.
- WE Section: your data will be kept for the duration of their status and during the legal period of limitation from its termination.
- Contact form: for the time necessary to resolve your query or request and the legal statute of limitations.
- Subscription form: for as long as you maintain your subscription and do not revoke your initial consent. Thereafter for the legally prescribed period.
- Events and activities: all data will be kept for an indefinite period of time to serve the Foundation’s own purposes and public interest.
In all cases, we will retain your data properly blocked to comply with the requirements of applicable law, prevent unlawful actions, resolve disputes, and other actions permitted by law, i.e., for the legally enforceable time periods. Once we no longer need to process your data, we will delete and/or block it in accordance with our data retention and deletion policy and the legal statute of limitations in accordance with applicable law. After these deadlines we will destroy your data.
What is the legitimacy for the processing of your data?
- Felipe González Archive:
PURPOSES BASED ON PUBLIC INTEREST: The personal data incorporated in the Archive of the Foundation will be processed in order to be able to fulfill its foundational purposes, including making available the historical archive of the personal, professional, political and institutional career of Don Felipe González Márquez, based on the public interest to the extent authorized in the various applicable regulations, especially the Historical Heritage Act which considers documentary heritage the documents generated, preserved or collected by private persons managing public services.
The RGPD authorizes processing for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes provided that the appropriate safeguards established by the Regulation are established.
CONSENT-BASED PURPOSES: Personal data will be processed with the express written consent of the data subject to the extent that it discloses specially protected data that have not been previously made public and that is not authorized by a regulation having the force of law.
Regarding the sending of material to improve the archive, participation is completely voluntary. By sending any information you expressly and unequivocally accept that your personal data will be incorporated into the ARCHIVE file and will be processed for the purpose of enriching the historical archive of the FELIPE GONZALEZ FOUNDATION. All information communicated will be subject to prior filtering in order to verify that it does not include offensive information or comments, or against current legislation, especially with regard to the protection of personal data and legislation on the right to honor, personal and family privacy and self-image.

Revocability: The consent given may be revoked at any time by communicating it to FFG in the terms established in this Policy for the exercise of rights. Revocation shall not be retroactive.

In the event of a Security Incident with a scope or impact that the regulations contemplate, FFG shall notify the Client or User without undue delay and shall provide timely information related to the Security Incident and/or the measures taken.
To which recipients will your data be communicated?
With our external service providers for the management of the website, and in general for the purpose of performing these functions on behalf of FFG.

FFG informs you that it will carry out processing orders to third parties in accordance with the RGPD, requiring compliance by the processor with all data protection guarantees. All utilities offered by third parties are strictly necessary for the development of our services and have been selected in compliance with the rights that we preserve on this website.
There are other companies that provide direct services to FFG (consulting, IT services, legal, data protection, etc.) that may have access to the personal information necessary to perform their service functions as data processors, but may not use it for other purposes and always in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
You can exercise before FFG free of charge the rights conferred by the RGPD, that is, exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, portability and limitation by any means that allows proof of sending and receipt of your request.
The request must be addressed to FFG, through the data included in the “Data Controller” section or to the account dpo@fundacionfelipegonzalez.org, indicating the reference “Data Protection”. The request must include: Name, surname and photocopy of your ID card, request in which your request is specified and address for notification purposes. You may file a complaint with the supervisory authority, in this case, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), if they consider that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the Regulation.
